There are lunches in Paris. And then there is lunch above Paris.

This September, Seat at the Table is taking over Le Balcon, perched atop the legendary Galeries Lafayette, for a spectacular Sunday déjeuner overlooking one of the most extraordinary cityscapes in the world. With a menu created by celebrated Paris chef Julien Sebbag, Le Sunday Déjeuner brings together his playful, modern take on the great French bistro with one of the most extraordinary views in Paris.

High above the rooftops of Paris, we’ll gather around one long table with the city unfolding in every direction — the Eiffel Tower rising across the skyline, Sacré-Cœur crowning Montmartre, the gilded dome of the Opéra Garnier almost close enough to touch, and the rooftops, monuments and zinc chimneys of Paris stretching towards the horizon.

And beneath us? Galeries Lafayette Haussmann — an icon of Parisian life and arguably one of the most beautiful department stores in the world, famous for its extraordinary Art Nouveau glass dome and more than a century of Parisian history.

For one glorious Sunday afternoon, its rooftop becomes ours.

Expect a long, lingering French lunch, beautiful food, flowing wine, music, conversation and an eclectic table of people from Paris and around the world — all against a backdrop that could only be Paris.

Come alone. Come with friends. Come ready to stay awhile.

Because Sunday lunch should never be rushed.

Purchase Policy

Due to the nature of our "Table" events, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another guest — simply let us know their details at least 24 hours in advance at reservations (at) seatalatable dot com, or ask them to provide your name upon arrival.

Please note that transferring funds for your seats remains the responsibility of the original purchaser.

In the rare event that we must postpone due to circumstances beyond our control, your booking will be automatically honoured for the rescheduled date.

Who Attends

The Seat at the Table community is diverse but all share one quality: a natural curiosity and a nose for fun! Fellow discerning lovers of French wine & gastronomy, you will be joined by a small hand-picked group of the most “interested and interesting” people you’ll have met in some time!

Language

The "Table"and Ëpicurean Adventures" will be bi-lingual English & French, predominantly in English.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance prior to departure.

Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the nature of group bookings and privatizations, please note that tickets for our "Tables" are non-refundable.

They are transferrable - please be sure to reach out if you can no longer make it.

Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you are able to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else. Be sure to let us know.

Force Majeure

Our "Table" events will proceed regardless of weather conditions—rain, hail, or shine. Our experiences are designed to adapt to the elements, ensuring a memorable journey no matter the forecast. However, in the rare event of an Act of God—such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control—that prevents the tour from taking place, we reserve the right to cancel the experience.

In such an instance, guests will be refunded in full for any payments made to Seat at the Table at the time of cancellation. Please note that any additional expenses incurred by guests, such as travel or accommodation costs outside of the tour, are not covered by this refund policy.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, as our primary goal is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants while delivering an exceptional adventure.
