For one extraordinary evening, we’re turning back the clock to the golden age of Montmartre.

Hidden behind the gates of Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, in one of the most enchanting private gardens in Paris, we’ll gather around one long table for a dinner inspired by the world of Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

In the late 19th century, Montmartre was the beating heart of artistic Paris. Painters, writers, musicians and beautiful eccentrics filled its studios, gardens, cafés and dance halls. Renoir captured that world perhaps better than anyone: long afternoons beneath the trees, tables crowded with friends, glasses of wine, dancing, conversation and that unmistakable dappled Parisian light.

For one night, we’re bringing it back to life.

Expect a beautiful multi-course French dining experience, paired wines, music, candlelight and a long table winding through the gardens of Hôtel Particulier.

And this time, we want you to become part of the painting.

DRESS: MONTMARTRE, LA BELLE ÉPOQUE

Think Paris, 1870s to 1890s. Linen suits, waistcoats, braces, bow ties and straw boaters. Flowing dresses, lace, ribbons, parasols, hats and flowers. You don’t need a costume. Just take inspiration from the romance, elegance and bohemian spirit of Renoir’s Paris.

Come solo, come as a couple or come with friends.

For one evening in Montmartre, we’ll eat, drink and celebrate as though Renoir himself might be sitting somewhere at the end of the table, paintbrush in hand.

Apres dinner we will be moving inside to Le Très Particulier cocktail bar for drinks.

FAQ

Purchase Policy

Due to the nature of our "Table" events, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another guest — simply let us know their details at least 24 hours in advance at reservations (at) seatalatable dot com, or ask them to provide your name upon arrival.

Please note that transferring funds for your seats remains the responsibility of the original purchaser.

In the rare event that we must postpone due to circumstances beyond our control, your booking will be automatically honoured for the rescheduled date.

The Seat at the Table community is diverse but all share one quality: a natural curiosity and a nose for fun! Fellow discerning lovers of French wine & gastronomy, you will be joined by a small hand-picked group of the most “interested and interesting” people you’ll have met in some time!

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance prior to departure.

Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the nature of group bookings and privatizations, please note that tickets for our "Tables" are non-refundable.

They are transferrable - please be sure to reach out if you can no longer make it.

Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you are able to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else. Be sure to let us know.

Force Majeure

Our "Table" events will proceed regardless of weather conditions—rain, hail, or shine. Our experiences are designed to adapt to the elements, ensuring a memorable journey no matter the forecast. However, in the rare event of an Act of God—such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control—that prevents the tour from taking place, we reserve the right to cancel the experience.

In such an instance, guests will be refunded in full for any payments made to Seat at the Table at the time of cancellation. Please note that any additional expenses incurred by guests, such as travel or accommodation costs outside of the tour, are not covered by this refund policy.
